Dawson was SO into carving pumpkins this year. We put it off a couple times because we were just too busy with everything going on, so this past Sunday we finally were able to get it done. Normally we carve more than one with some fancy schmancy patterns, but we opted to just carve the one we had and bedazzle a few of the smaller ones. Dawson was set on a plain ole jack-o-lantern. He told Garry and I that over and over. He didn't want anything but a "clain" (plain) jack-o-lantern.
Guess what?
The excitement level for a 4-year-old for carving one pumpkin as opposed to 4 was still the same. ;)
And, of course my favorite part of carving pumpkins is baking the seeds!
